Sue Collins, Chair of Bungay Labour, and this years' elected delegate to represent Waveney Labour Party, spent a whirlwind week attending a fantastic range of events and meetings.
Commenting on the Brighton conference, Sue said:
"The atmosphere at times was truly electric
"It has provided policy and direction of travel that the Party will be taking in the coming months as we move toward the general election.
"Ed Milliband will be delighted with the staggering level of publicity that the conference, and his leaders speech in particular, generated.
"The knee jerk response of the energy companies was expected but they have had things their way for far too long at the expense of their customers.
"It is so important that ordinary people have a say about what we want for our country and communities' and to appreciate that we do not have to suffer more the same to get the nations' deficit down.
"We have now been shown quite clearly that there is a far better way of achieving this without causing the misery that is currently being experienced by so many of us at the moment.
"Ed Milliband is so confident that his figures for the economy add up that he is calling for them to be scrutinised by the Office of Budget Responsibility to independently audit them.
"Hopefully the Government will do likewise, so that we will be in a position to judge for ourselves whether £1bn of spending commitments they have pledged at the Conservative conference can be paid for without having to increase borrowing."
The Labour Party conference was attended by approximately 10,000 people from all walks of life including famous faces like Eddie Izzard and Steve Coogan to name but a few.
