Sailed a yacht (which I restored and maintain myself) round Britain in 2011. Keen on DIY home maintenance, cycling and hill-walking as well as sailing. Took up bee-keeping in 2014. I have been campaigning for the Labour Party since 2012, helping to create a fairer society and hoping to improve the handsome town of Lowestoft, particularly its traffic and flood defences. Have been on various committees, including Waveney Sinfonia and Pakefield Singers also other groups, doing the job of chairman, or publicity and website manager. Currently secretary of Waveney Beekeepers Group and website manager for Community Light and Woodbridge Orchestras.
