Nick Webb elected new President of Lowestoft & District Royal British Legion

Nick Webb, Councillor for Whitton, Lowestoft, has been elected President of the Lowestoft and District Branch Royal British Legion.

Following his election, Nick said:

It's an honour for me to be elected President of the Lowestoft & District Branch of the Royal British Legion.

I promise that I will give the position my full and total commitment in accordance with the Royal Charter as well as all County and National policies and procedures.

I very much look forward to working with, and supporting all those members on the committee, and getting to know as many fellow members as possible, so that we may move forward together in promoting all that is good about the Legion in our community.

I take this opportunity to pay tribute to past President's, and hope that I can fulfil this role in the same tradition, with the same honour, and dignity, as those who have gone before me.

The Royal British Legion helps the whole Armed Forces community through welfare, comradeship and representation as well as being the Nation's custodian of Remembrance. This video shows some highlights of their work this year.
