Candidate for Beccles North
It is not about winning or losing; it is about you having a choice - where local people can choose local people.
I have a passion for our town and believe that residents should be listened to. At times we have been let down by remote party politics.
Beccles is my home and I have lived here since childhood with my parents. I completed my GCSE’s at Bungay High School. Then attended Norwich City College. I am currently employed as the manager at India Gate Restaurant Beccles.
I strongly support LOCAL neighbourhood planning for decisions on housing, traffic and infrastructure which MUST be decided LOCALLY - with adequate doctors, education, employment, recreation and transport. Safe routes to schools, parking and good access. There must be no closed doors to decisions.
IF ELECTED I WOULD AIM FOR:
Affordable housing with adequate infrastructure decided by local people
Safe roads and paths well maintained
Reducing lorries through the town and preventing driving and parking on pavements
Save our town’s special character
Improve communication and feedback
Restore household waste recycling
Providing adequate provision for people with dementia and mental health problems
To LISTEN and INVOLVE local people in local decisions
To be available and accountable; contact details 07506712937 or firstname.lastname@example.org
