St Peter's Court - Waveney Labour holding the Tory Administration to account.

Following pressure from the Waveney Labour Group to have questions answered
by WDC about the two Fire  Risk Assessments from 2015 and 2017  which came
to light following their publication in the 'Lowestoft Journal in October.

At the WDC Extraordinary Overview & Scrutiny Meeting on Monday 27th
November, 2017 the following additional recommendation was agreed. Waveney
District Council will look at the feasibility of having fire doors fitted to
the entrance of each flat that will last for one hour rather than the 30
minutes suggested.  In addition information updates are to be sent out to
all  WDC Councillors regarding the Fire Risk assessments and the resulting
action plans.  Details of the progress of the installation of the Sprinkler
system will go to the WDC Cabinet on the 17 January 2018.

The Waveney Labour Group will continue to hold the administration to account
on this important issue.'
