Labour’s candidate for the Oulton Broad by-election Len Jacklin encourages Waveney residents to take their opportunity to make their views on the proposed Lake Lothing Third Crossing. Len says:
‘It’s easy to complete Suffolk County Council’s online survey: it’s a just few simple questions and you can include your own comments. You can see what the plans are and how it will be done, so when you want to fill it in you have some idea how you want to answer the questions.
‘You can also go and visit one of the exhibitions. You’ll see where the bridge will go, what it will look like and how it will be built. You can fill in the survey there and then, or you can complete it at home and send it in.
‘The first one is today, between 12 noon and 7pm, at the Gunton Community Hall in Hollingsworth Road. Just drop in, take a look and have your say. There are others across the town on various dates. For Oulton Broad, it’s on the 25th September between 2pm and 7pm at the Commodore Mission Hall.
‘This consultation is part of the deal for Government funding for the bridge. We can really help to bring our hoped for bridge a step nearer, the more of us who complete the survey the less likely they are to have an excuse for not giving us the money.
‘It’s up to us all to FILL IT IN and make our Bridge happen!’
